This notice explains how we handle personal data when you:- visit sklegalfirm.com (the "Website");

The legal framework we apply
We process personal data in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the UAE PDPL) and its implementing regulations.Where we handle the personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we additionally apply the standards of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. - Usage data — pages viewed, time spent, and referring source
- The information necessary to advise on and conduct your matter, which will vary by instruction and may include correspondence, documents and information about third parties connected to the matter

How we collect it

As a regulated legal consultancy, we are required to verify the identity of clients and, where applicable, their beneficial owners before accepting instructions, and to keep those records. This may involve collecting identification documents, proof of address, and information about source of funds, and carrying out checks against sanctions and politically exposed persons databases. We may also share such data with our third-party AML Compliance Service Provider.We process this data to comply with our legal obligations, including under Federal Decree-Law No. 10 of 2025 on Regarding Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism and Proliferation Financing and its implementing regulations.
